Coit Road

Due to recent rapid growth, the City of Frisco needed to expand the capacity of Coit Road to accommodate current traffic as well as plan for future growth. Dunaway’s team worked with the City of Frisco to provide topographic site survey, roadway design, traffic signal revisions, and TxDOT permitting.

The overall project scope includes the design of south bound lanes of a four-lane arterial from U.S. 380 to Rockhill Parkway, providing provisions for the addition of two lanes in the future, associated storm drainage, and a 16-inch water line. In addition, this project included a landscape and irrigation plan for this section of road, as well as one mile to the south. The acquisition of six parcels for permanent right-of-way were allocated, as well as temporary easements for an additional six parcels.
