TRINITY RIVER AUTHORITY RED OAK CREEK RELIEF INTERCEPTOR
The Trinity River Authority’s Red Oak Regional Wastewater System enlisted Dunaway’s services to provide an environmental assessment and preliminary design report for a new section of wastewater interceptor. Dunaway’s assignment included 7,300 linear feet of 36- to 48-inch diameter interceptor sewer RO-3 along Red Oak Creek in Ovilla, Texas. The environmental assessment evaluated the route of the new line, including geological and hydrological elements and all biological elements such as floodplain and wetland habitats and socioeconomic resources. Following the environmental assessment, Dunaway provided a preliminary design report defining the flow projections, capacity analysis, condition assessment, permitting requirements, alignment options, and preliminary construction plans for the recommended improvements.
